Mariah A. Robinson
artist statement:
Since I first saw the silver screen illuminated with the incredible talent of
the artists at Pixar, I have been fascinated with the imaginative world of children.
Through working with scuplture, Legos, and video, I hope to cater to the interests
of children while covering a very personal topic of family roots.
bio
born in Livermore, Ca Feb 29th, 1984 to Hy and Nina Robinson; Created pictures
for a book which won local award at age 6; Became interested in animation at
the age of 10; Graduated from Granada High School in 2002 with dreams of one
day working for Pixar; Entered Mills College as an Intermedia Arts major; After
graduation from Mills, will enter Expressions
Digital Art College.
