hello all,

I've been rather quiet lately, but I thought I should announce this Big Blow 
and the Bushwackers gig.

We've only been playing a handful of gigs a year, but tomorrow night's show 
will be our last "official" gig. If anyone wants to see a full-band Big Blow 
show (5 guys doing their own bizarre Celtic/World/improv/humorous musical 
mix on didj, trumpet, mandolin, accordion, bodhran, tuba, percussion, and 
more), this is your last chance.

The show is in the DC area. Wheaton, MD to be precise, and we play one set

Hello all,

At Friday night's Big Blow gig, I finally got to play with my son (age 9) on 
stage. We have machng didjs, and for the last couple of years I have wanted 
to have him on stage with me during a didj improv. It never worked out until 
Friday night - our last gig! It was great fun, and it was even recorded.

Now that I'm back home form the gig, I just learned that we now have a small 
vid from a gig last year at the Faerie Fest in PA. It has been posted at

Its a clip from the tune Landlord, and a sample of a didj improv where I'm 
playing a large cedar didj made by Jai Dixon - my favorite stick - the same 
one I play on the boardwalk in Ocean City all summer.

sample of the now defunct Big Blow and the Bushwackers.
