The original Wandering Didge traveled for over 4 years before going
missing in Arizona so I find that pretty remarkable. As I recall
this didge was close to the key of E. Hammie's Wandering Didge the
Blondeenya made the scheduled rounds and then returned home to him
after a couple of years on the road. Chad's wandering didge
dissapeared for a bit but it was returned to him at the JT DidgeFest
this year and he told me that he planned to keep it in circulation so
there is still one didge making the rounds. I'm not sure what has
happened to Steve Pertree's Wandering Didge and I haven't checked
Marko's site to see progress on his Wandering Didge but while
everyone was reporting to me I tried to track all the wandering
didges at www.timelessproductions.com/didjeridoo/wd2. I will make
updates if information is sent in but I haven't heard from anyone in
years.
You can find soundfiles of the different wandering didges on my site,
Marco's site and Brandi's site and it's still interesting to read up
on the various wandering didge projects.
