Hey all;
I just received this email from a Wicked Tinkers fan:

Hello Jay ~

I am hosting a celebration for my 50th birthday on Saturday Nov.3 with
live music and I am trying to find a didjeridu player to be a part of
the evening - as a special guest musician. I live in Mtn. View (between
Sunnyvale and Palo Alto) and the party will be near by.

My family is Australian - I still have an elderly aunt and cousins
living in Brisbane area. Didje music has always "spoken" to me (much
like the bagpipes do... my Irish heritage coming thru) and I would like
to have my friends experience and enjoy something that is meaningful to
me.

I would appreciate any information you may be able to provide that would
put me in touch with a didjerdu player who might be interested/willing
to be involved in my birthday celebration. Thank you for your time and
consideration.

~ Renee

So, here's the deal....
If you live in the area, and are interested, email me.

The conditions are:
You must be a more than reasonably proficient player.
You must be comfortable playing an entire solo set (45 mins or so - no
chat, just background music)
You must also be comfortable joining in with a band for a tune or three
- so knowledge of basic music stuff like keys will be very helpful.

There will be - as they say - "some pay" which means you're not gonna
get rich, but it'll more than cover your gas.
I'm betting that food and drink will also be provided - but you'll have
to work out the specifics with the host.

Interested? Let me know.
