Umm... thanks Per, but to anyone out there, please do not call, and do  
not send anything. Brandi's doing well but it is tiring and stressful  
and while she appreciates everyone's wishes and really wants to hear  
them, we really don't want the phone ringing unless it's really  
important.

Due to her lowered immunity while on chemo, no flowers are allowed in  
the room. It's also a fairly small room with me living in it with  
luggage and a cot as well, so there's not room for any other gifts to  
be sent. We've got it well decorated with what's been sent already by  
family and workmates.

Please send any wishes to me via email and I'll pass on the message.  
She's also asked, since she can't go outside for the rest of this  
month, that people go to their favorite places outdoors, breath in the  
fresh air, take a photo, and email that photo to us with all that  
fresh air and outdoor energy wrapped up in it!

The rest of the report is that all is as well as it can be. She's on a  
2 year treatment plan aiming for complete cure. There'll be struggles,  
but we're totally confident everything will be okay. Brandi's handling  
it beautifully, making the staff of the hospital laugh and cry,  
shocking them with her good attitude, and more philosophical attitude  
than most. And she's getting them to think and act differently than  
they normally would. She's even got her nurse from last night taking  
home bloody bandages to ritually burn where his colleagues won't see.  
;-)

But this place is great. After a brief stay somewhere else, we have to  
say we feel absolutely blessed to have been delivered across the world  
to an incredibly friendly, caring, and capable team of experts in this  
field who just happen to be based near Brandi's family.
