Darin,
I miss getting to taste those wonderful home brews of yours.....sure you
don't wanna move back to Boulder?
Ok, what's this about some annoying buzzing noise outside BJ's? Come to
think of it, I've heard that too;-)

Wow, look at all this activity! I don't know if I can really be
considered an old timer, but I've been on this list for something
like 8 years now. My quick history - Wife and I quit jobs in
Minnesota in 2000, traveled the world including 2 months in Oz,
became obsessed with didjeridu, went back to MN for for a few weeks,
drove to Boulder, CO, got jobs, made lots of friends like the
Hultquists and, thanks to them, Ben Hicks and some other cool and
crazy locals, got annoyed with that strange buzzing noise while
trying to enjoy beers at BJ's so we moved to Belgium, where we live now.
As for my playing, I've never been a terribly devoted student, but
that's just me and my short attention span. I still play occasionally
and always keep my didjes handy, but I only grab them once or twice a
week instead of every day. My attention has been diverted to other
pursuits, like a renewed attempt at learning guitar and trying to
learn to speak Dutch. I've made progress in both, but slowly.
It's good to see things happening on this list again. I feel more at
home in this foreign land.
As an off topic side note - an even deeper passion of mine is brewing
beer. It's been a few years since I brewed my last batch but I
recently acquired the necessary equipment to start again. The Oman
brewery shall rise again!
Cheers,
Darin
