[Didjeridu] busking stories -was:RE: appreciation

I haven't put any video online of my tip contraption, but...
here's a youtube vid where you can see it next to me.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMw3moNt1uQ

I'm sitting on the seawall that lines the boardwalk. At every block, it
has access to the beach. When hurricanes come, big huge doors are swung
closed at the access points. This can really reduce damage to the
boardwalk and the buildings. The rest of the time, the wall makes a great, really long bench. Usually when I busk, I straddle the wall, and set the didj on the
wall in front of me. You'll see that in the link.

My tip contraption is on the left side of the screen. Money can be
dropped in the top of the PVC tubes. Once home, I unscrew the tube from its base (which is not visible in the vid, as it sits in the bottom of the wooden box), and dump out the night's booty. My son loves to do that part and count the money. (He always gets his take one way or another.)

I still use the same contraption,
but now it has a big coin maze added. Before too long, I'll have video
posted of that.
