Oooh. Man I would love to be able to busk today. Unfortunately, Ocean City crowds are very seasonal. Check out how big the crowds are right now where I most like to play:

I don't think the crew replacing that section of the boardwalk would tip me enough to cover the gas for the 35 mile round trip.
Even if I were to go closer to the boardwalk pier, there won't really be much foot traffic until warm April weekends at the earliest:

The cool thing about this webcam is that it takes pics 360, so you can see the beach, then the boardwalk facing south, then the boards facing north. On questionable weekends, this webcam allows me to see how the boardwalk crowds are.

The gear is bulky. I used to have it all attached to a heavy duty handcart. That worked great, but once we moved 18 miles outside of Ocean City, and I got a smaller car, the big cart no longer worked. Now I use a folding handcart, attach the wooden box, put the tip /coin maze contraption in the box, strap on the backpack full of little stuff, and carry my favorite didj, and music stand with flip book... and push the tip contraption. Sometimes I also carry a smaller didj in a didj bag that can swing around my shoulders and the backpack.

funny....the first time I watched that video I was so mesmerized by the
little girl, I didn't even see you playing....I had myself convinced you were
out of view in front of her.....and this time I had to strain to find you 'cause
I was still visualizing you in front her.....finally got you to pop into
view....now yer making me wanna hurry up & get some of my video up
there!!

the tip thingy looks cool, but kinda bulky? whatever works
tho.......;-)

When we haul our stuff around we have a collapsible grocery cart filled to
over the top and with stuff hanging all over the front & back....4 didj bags
with at least 2 didjes in each bag slung over our shoulders...good thing we
don't have far to go;-)

we could almost go busking today with the temp approaching mid to upper
60's, but we haven't renewed our permit.....
