- I'm on the fence here - there are things on youtube that I value being
able to see - albeit in crappy low-res reproductions - rather than not see
at all. Some of them I wish were less degraded, sure but others, for me it
doesn't matter - the kiddie Sepultura band, the Michael Jackson's Thriller
w/legos, the countless Snakes on a Plane parodies, videos of bands when they
were younger and the musicians in states of greater attractiveness - well,
okay maybe in the case of the latter I'd like more detail.

Certainly, some content translates better to the medium than others. But
then youtube might just end up merely being the repository of the world's
funniest and stupidest home videos.
