For the record, I don't know you well enough to be "pointing" at
you...so don't hold a defensive stance on my account. Hold it on your
own if you like, but...

Also for the record, your sense of humor saves you from falling into the
well-worn pit of the belligerent smart ass - many have tread that path -
few have returned from it. Congratulations on achieving balance.

My true opinion is that there is nothing "positive" about anything
"today". I will accept that there may be many things that make life
endurable, but I'm not sure it can be deemed positive (even all of the
nice music that comes out of the local fireplace). We have descended way
below the line of survival...so little can even be termed tolerable
about today's culture and society...and I use those words loosely...that
the miniscule drops in the bucket that "the music" may offer will always
be off-set by enormous legions of ignorance and avarice.

In short:
"I can't go on...I'll go on."
