Hi everyone,

Apologies for bringing this posting to the regular list but a.) the post
that I posted to  the events digest hasn't posted and b.) I'd rather
have have a flurry of folks slinging meat than a situation where this
show goes unposted - besides, considering that I do not personally have
a piece on the bill, how self-promoting can it actually be?

Regardless, tonight is the inaugural performance of Vox Novus' 60x60
Pacific Rim Mix. For those unfamiliar with 60x60, it's a marathon
performance of 60 premiers of new works by 60 West Coast composers,
with each composition lasting no more than 60 seconds - a very cool
concept indeed. More information is available at www.voxnovus.com, but
the show tonight will be at 8 PM sharp in the Mills College Ensemble
Room. Cost is free and regular Thursday Night activities will ensue
immediately following this event.

Again, apologies for posting to the official list and all, but
considering that this is 60 premiers by like 60 people we know, why not
break a taboo for the good of the community, yea?
