[NewMusic] funding opportunities for musicians/composers

Two opportunities for a little bit of money for new music that goes straight
to musicians:

Subito program - small grants ($500 - $1500) to individual composers,
performers or sound artists for projects "at a time when this help would
have a significant career-enhancing effect." Deadlines: November 1, February
15, June 1.

And for those not aware or philanthropic-paperwork-phobic, Meet the Composer
Creative Connections - individual grants starting at $250 for public
performances in any genre - next deadline January 7 for events taking place
April - June 2007
