I heard this band in Chico at the Palais Ideal Festival and they ROCKED.
Great songs - they were playing really tightly with lots of fun falling
out all over the place. Moe! in particular was playing so punchy in
those songs but never overplaying - it was incredible how precisely all
the musical thought was presented - a very lean sound, but still lots of
energy and the songs themselves (hard not to call them songs, but that
may not be the best word for them) are like very clearly drawn pen and
ink - More Eva Hesse than Ralph Steadman, but somehow Eva Hesse on
steroids nonetheless...

Rock on, Moe!, Ava, & Alee!

Hello!

Moe! Staiano here, just making a quick, short announcement of my new
band, Mute Socialite. We have played a show and a half and are still
continuing to expand our songs and musician line-up. We have some sounds
you can check out that I just uploaded: www.myspace.com/mutesocialite

Right now, we're a three piece with myself on drums and percussive
guitar, Ava Mendoza on guitar and Alee Karim on bass. We're looking for
a second drummer and a singer who can sing very well and hopefully a
trumpet player. But for now, there's three of us and hopefully we'll be
playing again very soon. Please check it out and hope you enjoy it.
Thanks.
