[NewMusic] 21 grand last night

It was a great set - and yeah - when you've been playing together for
nearly 20 years it shows. They don't play together all the time, but
they've been playing a lot over the years.

I had a great time playing with Lisa and Jason - I think there's space
in those tunes I've been writing for lots of interesting group play.

Vinny and Karen's duo was also sublime - the first few moments were a
bit blurred - the timbre of the contrabass flute was getting steamrolled
a bit by the gongs at first and then it settled in and offered us a
great dialogue.

It was nice to see a good crowd on a Tuesday night too. Thanks to anyone
that is reading this that made it out to the show.

Great music all around but Steve Adams and Vinny Golia were just
amazing. One of the very best concerts I have seen in recent years.
Even better than ICP on Monday. Those two were so ready and so
happening.
