Okay, okay, John: I'm busted. My folks owned Gino Robair Beauty College (and
the chain of Gino Robair beauty salons). In fact, I was named after the
latter. The smell of tint and other hair stuff makes me feel right at home.
What is it with drummers and hairstyling? Remember when Ringo Starr said
early in his career that when the Beatles fad died out, he'd open a salon?
