[NewMusic] record stores

You're right, Edgetone doesn't deal with a distributer, but seeing how
my stuff does in local stores, I now understand why.

For the record, I have cd's for sale at Aquarius and both Amoeba's. At
Berkeley Amoeba, Jim Kaiser put my cd on the top 'featured' shelf for
a few weeks. Aquarius had my wire review on the front of "Bwoo" while
it was there.

I'm not complaining about the behavior of the record stores. Not
complaining at all really. It's just that record stores are not where
my discs are selling. Instead they sell in Europe, where someone will
buy it after reading an online review.

Maybe I'm part of the problem too. When buying local cd's, I usually
wait for the musician to have a show so I can buy them directly.

BTW, Edgetone might now deal with record store distributors anymore,
but they just signed up with IODA for more extensive online
distribution.
