Hey, I'm not nagging on Pynchon (I'm with you re:
Against the Day, which may be my favorite of his
works), seeing as he's probably my favorite writer
ever.  But I'd bet he'd be the first to admit that
Vonnegut is more concise.

The Pynchon list is quite wonderful & worthwhile,
though the level of flame wars on it make BA Newmus
seem like a diplomat's paradise.
