[NewMusic] tune core?

I noticed tunecore in the guitar center catalogue too. Digging into it,
looks like it costs 99c per service listing and takes a few weeks to go
live. All in all not a bad deal. i.e. small amount (my estimate ~$5) to get
your songs in the standard places: itunes, emusic, napster, rhapsidy.
Shouldn't be too hard to make the money back. The free options that I have
found so far are myspace, and broadjam, but consumers may be less willing to
try something new out, instead of a service that they are more comfortable
with. Lots of sales opportunities, now to come up with some music worth
selling = repeat customers.

The day of selling a $15 album are over, now each track has to be good so
that people will download the next. One bad one could make someone less
likely to want to buy another. Also the first 10 to 30 seconds are now very
import for getting those undecided downloaders.
