Exactly - it's a lot more work adding the layers when you're not using
electronic doodads. It's totally worthwhile, I was just expressing how
teasingly easy it is for us knob twiddlers.

Of course, then doing a solo set becomes a different challenge -
having different events happening at the same time that we have to
keep an eye on so they remain somewhat coherent with each other, and
individual elements don't get too repetitive or stagnant.
