[NewMusic] Perform music by Roscoe Mitchell?

This semester the Mills Contemporary Performance Ensemble will be
performing a piece by Roscoe Mitchell. Depending on the makeup of the
group, we’ll play a pre-existing piece as-is or he will adapt something
to fit the ensemble. There will be other music, too. Exactly what will
depend on the ultimate resources in the ensemble, but may include
something by Terry Riley. Accomplished musicians from the Bay Area
community are welcome to join us if they are able to attend our
rehearsal times and the performance. If interested, please contact me
to talk about participating. It would be a good opportunity to meet
Roscoe Mitchell and work on some of his music.
