It is important to keep in mind that Marco had a lot of great musicians 
like Jimmy Lyons,  Cecil Taylor, Don Cherry, Bill Dixon,  Dewey Redman 
and others help him along early on, he was never stingy about passing 
on  what he learned along.
I basically did an old style apprentice thing with him for years and he 
tolerated a lot of worse playing than happened on Sunday. I think it is 
too bad more younger players don't seek out the same experience.
I am all for kick ass all star bands as much as anyone, but sometimes 
other stuff is involved.
