Fair enough points, and when I'm in a teacherly,
community-building mood, I'm all over it.
Sunday, I guess I was in more of a selfish mood
of wanting to be part of a good musical performance.
I'm sure a lot of the horn ensembles sounded
great out front, unfortunately I couldn't hear
them from the back - all I heard was drums and
guitar, and that got old quick. So I didn't play much -
a choice I was hoping would catch on,
but alas it was not to be.
Yes, great solos from Mr Ingle, in particular,
and Mr Adams on baritone, though Steve
stopped short with what looked like a
look of frustration on his face - getting
a baritone up and over that much sound
seems, well, a bit difficult...
