reminds me of that nashville engineer's joke, in re: comping and fixing the
singer's tracks in protools or whatever. 
singer does two takes of the song. 
engineer says "ok, that's fine, you can go home now."
singer says, "don't you want me to do it right?"
engineer drawls "...if you want it to take all night...."
