Yes, but showing up to a situation like that with a shakuhachi and
expecting everyone to come down for you is not realistic. Ideally I
should have have been Spirit and two acoustic basses, it wasn't so we
had amps. In Vinnie's big band, we had no amps, and that didn't work
either.
