[NewMusic] laptop suggestion

I got a powerbook and it interfaces pretty well off my HP desktop.
With the wi-fi network it transfers files fast and even prints on the pc's
printer. Most of the software that I use is also cross platform: Cubase,
PD/Max-Msp, Audacity, Reaktor, Maya, Photoshop, After Effects. It was a
little weird using a mac at first, but I saw it as a chance to stimulate my
creativity by thinking differently.
If you really want a pc then read some reviews on cnet about them. It
might be cool to get an acer tablet that you could draw on. I also have a
122Mhz Hitachi win95 laptop that wont die, it can still do csound and
rebirth!
I use a presonus firebox on my PC desktop and Mac laptop, the guise
at Robotspeak talked me into getting it, and I'm glad that they did. From
experience, I wouldn't use any usb audio interface.
