i have no choice but to NOT have health insurance.
Being a long term leukemia survivor means that to
insurance companies i am high risk and they would
charge me thousands per month. 

USA USA we are number one. WOOHOO

As a musician, i still get calls asking me to play for
free and have the increidbly insulting comment of " we
wont pay you but this is good exposure for you and we
will let you sell your Cds and hand out business
cards".
As a chef, everyone expects to pay for their food and
not a single time have i been asked to cook for
"exposure"

this culture is so fucked up in many ways
