- the execution is the idea. If you think about it, "just telling people the
idea" is pretty much what he's doing. The thing is that a lot of other art -
performance, painting, sculpture - often involves even more execution of an
idea that doesn't necessarily merit it, and the resulting work is kind of
besides the point. I felt that way after hearing the plot of Jackass 2.

There is definitely a faction of conceptual art that is pretty much works
based on "Wouldn't it be funny if ..."

Somewhere conceptual artists are complaining that they deserve more money.
