[NewMusic] acoustic vs. electronic

no way man, i'm with jacob. there are certain things acoustic instruments
can do that electronics just can't, and vice versa. even though it is the
option for night clubs to have DJs now instead of live music, there are also
plenty of people who specialize in electroacoustics spending way too much
time trying to physically and sonically emulate/simulate a real violin, or
trumpet, etc... the 'real' acoustic instrument is still the model.
(i always think, why not just make your computer sound like something else
entirely different with its own character, and then also play an actual
violin or trumpet)
