One of the problems with acoustic instruments is they
break. My favorite shakuhachi cracked on me this
week. Not fun!

If it was a computer and crashed, i could simply
reboot the thing and be on my way.

The shakuhachi has been around about 7 centuries. Of
course there have been some new innovations in making
them over the years, especially in the last century
but they are essentially the same design as in the
14th century.
and the shakuhachi sure does sound good with
electronics and in many ways they are a "natural
pairing" if you ask me.
