Oh, come on.  Every instrument has limitations of one
sort or another.  There are things that one can do
with a cooler filled with ice & cans that one can't do
with an acoustic bass, as much as there are things
that one can do with a bass that one can't do with a
berimbau.  Every instrument, acoustic, electric or
electronic, has limitations.  It's the creative
musician's job to push those limitations to the
farthest limit possible.
