I exaggerated, sorry, I didn't mean to appropriate my exaggeration to you.

I do think we have to set our priorities, and agree with you there 
wholeheartedly.  This whole train of thought stemmed from listing 
improvements to everyday items.   I wouldn't focus on them, but they 
were examples.  I don't think all of them are superfluous however, they 
just seem fantastical because we aren't there yet.

You do bring up a big point to keep in mind,  we have to make sure that 
the things we add to our lives actually make them easier.  Information 
overload and complication can result if our technology is not well designed.
