Another great idea is the Rova Improv:21 series, where the
whole point is the explanation, the music is only there to
illustrate the discussion.

Yeah, that's brilliant on their part to do that - I always seem to be
engaged on nights when it happens, but one of these days...(I really
wish I could have heard Waddada talk about his music - I was playing
with him a lot there for a while, and I could never get him to talk
about his "ideas" - on the other hand, he was happy to talk about how
Manfred Eicher and other had ripped him off shamelessly.
