The consistently progress-minded Mr. Threw threw out there:
Is there an email client out there that maintains a custom list of
patronizing quote-demarcating phrases?  Or does everyone type them in
themselves on occasion?

I'm really curious, because its never a feature I've seen, but it
would be kind of endearing in a mail client.
