after having a show referred to as "so hip it sucks" and had countless
"celebratory" articles get basic facts wrong (MZ did finally stop jokingly
calling Darren "Dennis" after a few months) and ranting about it and/or
sending in annoyed emails to the extent of "do you pay people to be
incompetent?" I've come to appreciate the simple things - like a bland but
error-free blurb.

- Maybe in this day and age of media consolidation, we'll end up with Phil
Freeman writing for the weeklies and the beanbenderish lamentations for "the
good old days" will commence anew.
