We are presenting 2 dinner/concerts this weekend.
Sunday's with Yoshio Kurahashi (from Kyoto) is
completely sold out with a large waiting list. For
Satuday, i had some recent cancellations and now have
4 seats available.
Frank is one of the finest clarinet and sax players
today and is visiting from Koln, Germany.

Frank and i have been friends for many years and share
a love of Japanese green tea. So i designed a menu
using various kinds of green teas as an ingredient in
each course
Appetizer: Green tea steamed dumplings filled with
tempeh, burdock, lotus, carrot, water chestnut, basil,
shallot, garlic, thai chili. Wrappers made with
matcha, semolina and rice flour and salt__
Soup:_Ochazuke_Green tea over brown rice with
umeboshi, nori, sesame, scallions__
Entrée:_Tamarind tempeh_homemade tempeh stir fried
with onions, garlic, green beans in a spicy tamarind
sauce_
Gyokuro tea leaves w/ shoyu__
Daikon pickled with sencha
desert: Green tea ice cream w/ red bean sauce
as always, all vegan and mostly organic ingredients.
