[NewMusic] ASCAP/BMI performance royalties

Greetings all,

I just received my first royalty check from ASCAP for a performance of 
one of my works, which is making me think that I perhaps I should be 
more diligent about sending them information about my performances.  
Part of the reason I haven't been really on top of this is because I 
worry about causing smaller underfunded spaces to have to pay licensing 
fees. I'm wondering how other folks out there are handing this issue. 
Do you report all your performances? Only the ones at larger venues or 
universities?
