Typical: nice 'awards' from basically the only
publication in town, meaning the East Bay, which
if anyone hadn't noticed is where almost all of us
live and play at this point, and y'all get out yer
red pencils and pore over every line, looking for
each and every slight, imagined or real...hopefully
no one's sent a righteous e-mail to the anonymous author,
or it'll be another five years until the next honorable mention.

By the way, 'flutist' is corrrect, at least in this country...
'flautist' is, according to my MacBook dictionary,
"chiefly British".
