I thought that was the plot of "Noisy People II."  The sequel is better 
than the original! (Although "Noisy People III: This Time It's 
Personal", where Fuzzy Bunny and sfSound band together to create and 
enormous electro-acoustic group to defeat Russian nuclear terrorists, 
totally sucks. . . except, of course,  for  Vin Diesel's performance as 
Damon Smith. . .)
