Next time you're here I'll take you to a Taqueria truck on Division that'll knock you out (if you're going to play the "doesn't hold a candle to anything in SF" game)--good lengua, fantastic El Pastor,etc.
If you book a show at Valentine's (Jen Olesen's the booker) it's around the corner from Voodoo--you can have a great reuben there and go to Voodoo for dessert.

Tugboat's beer is good. That nearby Mexican place doesn't hold a
candle to anything in SF, but it's pretty amazing that you have to
walk right past the stage of the adjoining strip club to get to the
bathroom (something you don't realize until you walk through an
unmarked door and find yourself nearly on the stage).
