Muse Art House seeks a talented, versatile and driven Curator to 
collaborate in the development of our new sustainable space slated to 
open in Berkeley in mid 2007.

Muse Art House, integrated with Mint Café, is an imaginative new concept 
that pairs art and music with Mediterranean small-plate dining in a 
single 4,000 square foot space. Our objective is to provide a socially 
conscious space in the heart of Berkeley where art, music, diverse foods 
and personal service combine to create a place where health, dialog and 
community flourish.

We are seeking a Curator to partner with us to:

• Complete the development of our concept
• Collaborate on the design of the entire space
• Develop content proposals
• Establish a network of local, and regional, artists and other content 
providers
• Stage shows and program other content
• Successfully launch and operate the art house.

The ideal candidate is a creative artist, a talented content developer, 
experienced curator and a capable manager. Above all, s/he is passionate 
about opening a new kind of art house and willing to participate in the 
planning and execution of this important new concept in Berkeley. S/he 
will report directly to the General Manager.

Experience should include formal art education and related experience. 
Management experience is a plus, as is business education and/or experience.
