I love the frightening.

somewhat related - though I know NPR is a
little buttoned-downed for the list, tune in
KQED or KALW for rebroadcast of a serious
music piece they just did on Schoenburg
and those he influenced.  Not sure I agree
with the author's conclusion, but you do
get to hear a bit of the music on mainstream
radio.
