I thought being a "nerd" was pretty "cool" these days, it being the  
computer era and all.  But then it depends on which crowd you're  
with, I guess. In teaching high school kids, it always tends be a  
sense of pride with which they announce "I'm so weird!" Of course,  
I'm usually working with musicians, so it's a select crowd.
