  It would have been even nicer if there was a sound person on duty. I hate that room, and wouldn't have gone if I had to have paid for a ticket. 
   
  Nonetheless, it was nice to see Ornette, his colorful suit, his leather hat and his band of basses. Denardo continues to go backwards - I think he sounded better when he was 11 years old on Empty Foxhole then he sounds now. The three basses would have worked if the room or the sound system was willing. Apparently cramming bodies into a huge venue is more important than considering what a group will sound like and determining the optimum room for said band. Randall Kline continues to pimp and could care less where his whores have to play (apparently).
   
  Why was it that the sound crew waited until the encores to make the band sound good? Just a question...I doubt anyone has an answer.
