MC's set was one of my favorites of the whole festival. My prediction
was that it might be the case. Something very different from expected,
but still exciting.
The Behrman/Lockwood/Winant evening was my favorite too, though a lot
of people made trips to the bathroom during the last song. (Which was
imagines/sounds of moving water.)
I actually liked the Univac set, and I'm usually not easily swayed by
circuit bending stuff.
The whole thing sounded great from the lobby, but I didn't get to
spend much time in the auditorium.
A note on Tim Hecker - he was there. Some folks talked to us because
they thought were were doing his piece as 'tape music'. He played from
the mixing console, and requested that we not announce it. (We joked
about making that part of the artist contract next year - "The
audience must be able to verify your presence at the festival.")
