Which reminds me, 2008 is the fourth year of the Otto D. Taylor Award
recognizing outstanding accomplishments in Playing Things We Thought Not
Playable, and Late In So Doing. Congrats, and a fluff of the CV to JOHN
HANES for that nearly overlooked performance of 2006 at Yerba Buena Arts
Center using toy clappers and some savvy patch on the i-book.

been awarded the second annual B. I. Shoemaker Award for general musical
kick-assiness. The award comes with a 2000 yen scholarship and a hearty
