Sorry, PG. I didn't see the words "entertainment", "art" or "marketing" appear in your statement. Hence I was making no such comparisons. You simply said "if people don't pay for something they don't inherently see much value in it."

Is MySpace not "something?" I seem to recall that during the recent flare-up quite a few folks here thought it was.

Aesthetically speaking....are you suggesting that marketing cannot be a form of entertainment or art? If so, I think Rupert Murdoch, and many of his bloody insects would likely disagree with you. ;-)
