This doesn't address any of the points anyone has brought up, but I thought
I'd share --
when I was coming home from SF and heard the announcement, "The Fruitvale
and 12th
Street BART stations are closed until further notice due to civil protest,"
I felt SO proud.
Then the situation escalated into the evening, after I'd already gotten
home, and I felt
SO sad and sick to my stomach.
