Yes, it was amazing to hear Matthew's development as a soloist over 4 
short years. He managed to turn the bass into the polar opposite of 
what we expect to hear from this instrument, working toward 
electronic-sounding textures, sustained sounds, and dense high-end 
explorations. And he did it all with a great sense of humor and 
lightness, never veering into the macho or blustery. I miss the guy.

sessions, and Myles mastered it, and it sounds incredible.
