Our clarinetist Jon Russell will unfortunately be out of town, but to make 
up for it will be a guest appearance by renowned Tuvan style throatsinger 
and igil player, Seth Augustus.

On Thursday December 21st Mike Perlmutter will perform a set of solo 
saxophone pieces at the Chapel of the Chimes in Oakland.  The event is a 
solstice celebration and will feature about 30-40 musicians performing solo 
pieces in various rooms (all candle lit) in the Chapel.  This is part of a 
semi-annual concert series which coincides with each solstice.
