SLUNKY plays a set of live improvised music to accompany short films by 
Jan Svankmeyer and the Brothers Quay at the Hypnodrome Theater in SOMA. 
The performance follows the Hypnodrome's Grand Guignol production "Head 
Trips" which runs from 8:30-10:30pm.  The night commences at 8pm with a 
round of John Zorn's Cobra by a rotating crew of excellent Bay Area 
improvisers.
SLUNKY is: Phillip Greenlief, reeds / Ava Mendoza, guitar / Lisa 
Mezzacappa, bass
